Joshua Tree Airbnb and Palm Springs Boho Elopement

When Zoe and Zac first reached out to me, they let me know their grand plans to come to Los Angeles from Australia and elope at the Beverly Hills Courthouse! (Remember this Beverly Hills Courthouse Elopement from not too long ago?) So the plan was made! And then… the plans changed! Turns out, the courthouse was going to be closed the week Zoe and Zac were visiting because of the election! So we moved plans to Las Vegas, and plans changed again and we settled on Joshua Tree!

Your wedding day is YOUR wedding day - what that means is I will be there every step along the way, no matter what happens. I’m here to provide support, help you plan, or just be an ear to listen to if you need to vent about things going wrong!

Fast forward to the day of the elopement - and low and behold it happened to be the windiest day I have ever experienced at Joshua Tree and Palm Springs, but we pulled it off and got these two hitched!

We started off at Desert Wild JT, the most stunning Joshua Tree Airbnb! This is the PERFECT place to elope if you’re looking for a desert oasis right by the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.

Thanks to Cultivated by Faith for their GORGEOUS floral arrangements and also keeping that arch down in those winds. if you’re looking for amazing florists, look no further than these incredible humans!

After Zoe & Zac got ready together, they were married in the sweetest little ceremony by Richard, a local officiant.
We took photos around the airbnb, then jetted off to Palm Springs to take photos! Zoe & Zac told me they love that Palm Springs look, so we were sure to capture the San Jacinto Mountain Range and the Midcentury Modern neighborhoods.

We ended the day by heading back over to Joshua Tree National Park, swinging by the Cholla Cactus Garden and finishing off with a sunset over Jumbo Rocks! It was truly the most magical day.

Zoe and Zac are two of those people that I hope to stay in touch with for the rest of my life. Check out Zoe’s account of the day below! (Spoiler Alert: I cried when I read this)

This is Tida. Say it with me now
T-Dah. She’s a sweet Californian babe who claims to be the ultimate hype girl on your wedding day. Every damn bride needs one of her. I found her on google under “LA photographer”. I was very fussy LOL. I could have stumbled across any kind of funky stranger but we found this little vibe of life living her best life in the middle of SoCal. I was instantly hooked & booked. People bursting with passion for life touch my soul. I can’t describe it. She’s someone I want to stay in touch with for the rest of my days. She’s fun and did I say FUN? She’s full of life, she’s vibrant AF, she’s hilarious, she’s up for any adventure you want to throw her into and she’s loud. Her voice is full of pure excitement. Thrilled to be alive. Arnt they the BEST kind of people? YES THEY ARE. She will be shouting “DAYUM GURLLLL” in your face until the sun goes down even if the wind has blown your eyebrows off over 40 minutes ago. I left mine in Palm Springs somewhere. It was 4 degrees with “extreme desert winds” forecast and snow on the mountain tops. I was dodging phnemonia faster then I was dodging my nipples cutting through my dress and there she was still standing right In front of us yelling DAYUMMMMM 10 times a minute 😂 I’m hyped for life. Honestly the severe winds had me believing I was going to be resembling nothing short of Ace Ventura and Lloyd Christmas combined in every single photo. But she’s put all me worries to bed. Queen behind a lens, thanks girlfriend. Ily💘
