2. Rue de Seine

Rue de Seine is one of my FAVE wedding dress designers. The founder spent a good amount of time in Paris and was inspired by the free flowing, whimsical, bohemian citizens of the Saint Germain area, and thus created Rue de Seine. The designs are modern, boho, and unique- and they’re sold in retailers all over the world. And now they’re offering virtual consultations to help you find the perfect dress! Here’s the low down:

1. Check out their website and craft your wish list

2.  Fill out the inquiry form

3. Schedule a virtual consult with their amazing team of stylists

4. Talk through your gown choices, sizing, and see the dress of your dreams on a variety of body types to get an idea of how it would look on you

5. If you fall in love, you can order the dress directly from them. They even have an online fitting option to make sure it’s the perfect fit!

3. Grace Loves Lace

Founded in 2010, Grace Loves Lace was inspired by a woman who was FED UP with the typical wedding dress “uniform”. She believed that women didn’t need to sacrifice comfort or their personal style when it comes to picking a wedding dress, and set out to create a line of sexy, laid back, and stunning wedding dresses. While you may not be able to make it to one of their retail stores, you can book a virtual consultation to find your dream dress! Let’s take a look:

1. Pop around their website and start picking out any dresses that suit your fancy

2. Schedule a stylist appointment to talk about sizing, the fit, and narrow down your list

3. Take a look at their accessory line to complete the look or find complimenting dresses for your rehearsal dinner or bridal shower!

4. While they recommend purchasing 6 months before your wedding for any made to order styles, they do have rush options or ready to order pieces, so just let your stylist know your time frame and they can help find the perfect dress no matter how soon you need it.

5. Do a happy dance with your new gown!

4. Lace and Liberty

Based in San Francisco, Lace and Liberty is changing the bridal wear industry from within. They’ve said goodbye to size charts and do strictly made to order, measured specific to you dresses with custom options on every. Single. Piece. Say WHAT?? They believe in keeping things size inclusive and focusing on how the dress makes YOU feel rather than a size and a price that goes up if your body doesn’t fit the standard. Now that’s what I love to see! Take a look at their options for virtual wedding dress appointments.

Option 1: For those who know what they want

If you found a dress you love right out of the gate- then skip the hassle! They’ll send you the dress of your dreams to try on for just $25. Easy peasy.

Option 2: For those who like options

1. Schedule a styling call with their team of stylists and designers

2. Grab some bubbly- your curated box of samples comes straight to your door for just $45, and includes clips, accessories, and fabric swatches

3. Found a style you love but want a couple things different? They do that! Customize any of the designs with their design team.

4. Zoom call with the design team to make your dress perfect.

5. ASOS

ASOS is an awesome choice for finding a more casual, affordable wedding dress option. They offer a pretty wide selection of bride and bridesmaid options, with tall, petite, and plus options in many of the styles! Since they have a flexible return policy, you can easily order a few options and return anything that doesn’t work for you.

These are some crazy times we’re living in, but you can still enjoy the fun of finding your wedding dress! Wedding dress online shopping may not be how you pictured the experience, but there’s tons of options to make the experience fun and still include your friends and family. And if you need some advice on how to handle the rest of COVID-19 wedding planning, check out my blog post here! Now go forth and shop!
